This place is interesting, but kinda dumb. There are teleporters everywhere and it's super easy to get lost. In the middle of the Core section there's a MYSTERIOUS teleporter. Gangly, freak-eyed Ratchet is going to say with me for a while. Ted Price is the CEO and founder of Insomniac. You ever see that unused Icthyosaur model from Half-Life 2? There's one flying around the outside of the museum, too. Hey, there's a popcorn machine around somewhere. I swear this picture had an info thing associated with it, but no matter where I stood it wouldn't pop up. This room also has lots of neat character modeling stuff in it. It's pretty neat! I've included it in it's own post for you to watch. This is a secret video showing the process of character creation, from initial ideas to actual modeling and animation. Hey Worf dude, don't sit so close to the TV, it messes up your eyes.
The Chimera are the enemies of the Resistance series (those games are bad don't play them).įun fact, We were originally going to do the Resistance series as our first LP, but we got about three videos in before be realized that neither of us were having any fun. Now maybe Ratchet can learn what it means to be a solider. The goal is to get to the end before the time runs out and before you die three times. Stepping on the teleporter leads you to a randomly built platforming challenge, and occasionally there will be Worfs Argonians Agorians as enemies in the way. The Hale Conference Room is also new for me. I guess it beats being buried up to your neck in ice. This is Azimuths personal hell, by the way. Both lack polish, but that's for a reason.
The first is a race against Azimuth (really it's against the timer down there but eh), and the second involves you doing laps on a short time, and going through rings to extend your time. Inspecting the rocket boots on either side take you to a racetrack filled with dangerous obstacles. But still, REALLY obscure reference there. This game is more fun than a talking cat with laser eyes. This was actually kind of explained in the Tools of Destruction strategy guide.īrian Mathison, being asked "What would the ideal review of (Tools of Destruction) say?" posted: The ladies' room is filled with cameras, for some reason.īut in the mens' room, we have a giant picture of a cat. Sometimes the rooms are just empty little things that just serve as filler, but it's cool to see what the rooms are called. to show off cut content, and there's a LOT of it in here.įirst off, the Insomniac Museum is actually laid out like the Insomniac offices, so you get a bit of a tour. If you post pictures of them, I'll edit them into here for a more complete guide.įor the most part, the Museum serves the same purpose as it did in the other two games it was in.
This is the Insomniac Museum! This place is huge and every time I come here I find something new, so forgive me if I fail to show something off, because there's still at least one thing I don't know how to access, and there's probably others I don't even know exist.
